Electronics designer / CAD Engineer
Electronics engineer/Schematics and layout CAD engineer (project leader).
Work Description:
As our Electronics CAD Engineer you will hold a key-role in the development of a new product, its production system and accessories. The product is a mixed signal system with 8-bit micro controller, stable amplifier of low-level signal of 10 to 100 microV and outputs/regulators. The successful candidate will work as part of a team together with software designers, quality assurance responsible, product development responsible and test and production engineers. The position also requires the candidate to co-ordinate a number of hardware engineers and responsibility for delivering development results on time. Further duties/responsibilities include:
- Schematics development, calculations/simulations, tests etc.
- Structuring of hardware. Preparation of technical requirements and technical description of system/hardware.
- Schematics and layout CAD (Microsim 8 (DesignLab8) at the moment).
- Test, evaluation and verification of hardware, modules and entire systems.
- Trouble shooting during development, verification and production stages.
Skills/Experience Required:
Good knowledge of, and interest in, experimental physics and mathematics. We also see that you have experience of, and interest in, analogue and digital electronics design. Good English language communication and writing skills are required.
Desirable but not mandatory merits:
Knowledge and experience in:
- Analogue system design for worst case.
- Mixed signal systems design (and programming).
- Object oriented development.
- Design description in UML.
- Design for high volume production.
- Quality assurance, methods testing.
- Embedded software development competence.
