31.01.2002 Фирма ALTERA прислала следующее сообщение:

Dear Customer:
Due to the on-going negative market conditions we have not been able to achieve the manufacturing costs expected for some of our aggressively priced high volume products. As a result, Altera will be increasing pricing on all ACEX 1K devices and select MAX 3000A devices.
A price increase of 10% will affect all ACEX 1K ordering codes that are currently offered in the pricelist.
A price increase of 2.5% to 5% will affect select MAX 3000A devices currently offered in the pricelist.
The price increase will become effective 26 Jan, 2002.
