The MAX+PLUS II version 10.23 software update adds compilation,
simulation, and device programming support for these new CPLD
devices:

o EPM3128AFC256 (all speed grades)
o EPM3256AFC256 (all speed grades)

This release of the MAX+PLUS II software also supports the new
ByteBlaster(R) II download cable for PC.

Installation Instructions for PC
================================

MAX+PLUS II version 10.2 software must be installed before the
MAX+PLUS II version 10.23 update software. Simply execute the
installation program 'maxplusii_1023_pc.exe' and enter the
MAX+PLUS II installation directory.

To use the ByteBlaster II download cable on Windows NT, Windows
2000, and Windows XP computers, you must install the ByteBlaster
driver. If you have previously installed the ByteBlaster or
ByteBlasterMV, you must install the new driver in order to use
the ByteBlaster II download cable. Use the bblpt.exe utility
to install or remove the necessary driver. The utility program
is automatically installed in the \maxplus2\drivers\i386
directory with the pgdhdlc.sys device driver file. To install
the driver, change to the \maxplus2\drivers\i386 directory, and
type bblpt /i at a command prompt. To remove the driver,
change to the \maxplus2\drivers\i386 directory and type
bblpt /r at a command prompt.
