433MHz FM Data Transceiver Modules
capable of handling data rates up to 160kbps over a usable range of 200m
The BiM2-433-64 is the latest miniature radio transceiver module released by European-based Radiometrix Ltd. Conforming to European harmonised standards EN 300 220-3 and EN 301 489-3. The new and highly efficient BiM2 module offers excellent all round performance. Operating at 433.92MHz, the fully screened SAW controlled FM transmitter and double conversion 'Superhet' receiver are ideal for enabling bi-directional wireless connectivity in battery powered or handheld applications. Power supply requirements are 3V or 5V at 14mA for transmit mode, 18mA to receive. Transmitter power at 5V is a creditable 10mW, whilst receiver sensitivity is -100dBm at 1ppm BER with image rejection of 60dB. Overall module dimensions are very compact at only 23 x 33 x 4mm. Also available are Radiometrix's TX2 transmitter and RX2 receiver, which also operates on 433.92 MHz. Radiometrix's new crystal controlled TX3 transmitter and RX3 receiver pair are available for either USA (914.5MHz) or European (869.85MHz) ISM bands. Radiometrix modules are capable of handling data rates up to 160kbps over a usable range of 200 metres.
