Хочу подключить контроллер с opentcp к me45.

Maybe a dumb question, but is there a reason GPRS modems support only
PPP, and not SLIP?
The reason I ask is that I'm investigating the use of a GPRS modem by
an embedded device with limited resources. I've found what I think is
a usable TCP/IP stack ( http://www.dunkels.com/adam/uip/ ), but it has
no PPP layer. I'm working on one, but it's pretty hairy stuff; SLIP is
dead simple. It seems to me that it would be pretty easy to support
SLIP as well as PPP on the GPRS modem. I'm assuming the local IP
address is not supplied as part of PPP negotiation (I believe it
typically is not, but I could be wrong).
Thanks in advance for any insights!
regards,
Brian
