Software Engineer
Electronics engineer/Programmer of embedded (8-bit) micro controllers (project leader).
Work description:
As our Software Engineer you will play a key-role on the development of the new generation PSoC based gas sensors. The Software Engineer will work as part of a team together with product development responsible, hardware designers, software designers, quality assurance responsible, and test and production engineers. Further duties/responsibilities include:
- To structure and design the sensor's micro controller software.
- Specification of modules (objects), preparation of technical requirements and technical description of software.
- Coding in assembler and C.
- Test, evaluation and verification of program modules and entire systems.
- Trouble shooting during development, verification and production stages.
Skills/Experience Required: A good knowledge of, and interest in, experimental physics and mathematics is required. We also see that you have experienced of, and have an interest in, the field of programming 8-bit processors. The successful candidate will become a co-ordinator of the co-operation between several hardware engineers and will be responsible for delivering development results on time. Good English language communication and writing skills are required.
Desirable but not mandatory merits:
Knowledge and experience in:
- PSoC (Cypress Semiconductor) configuration and programming.
- Mixed signal systems design and programming.
- Object oriented development.
- Design description in UML.
- Design for high volume production.
- Quality assurance of program functionality and reliability, test methods.
- Hardware development competence, especially analogue.
